This is basically just an administrative note:

There was a thread in which Gilgamesh announced his return to participate on the forum after a period of absence.

In general, this type of announcement would go in the Lounge, not "In the News."

But specifically, the thread deteriorated into personal attacks and I pulled it completely for lack of time to edit through about 50 posts with a fine tooth comb. Sorry for the inconvenience to members who posted legitimate posts, but this is a fairly typical issue that we had in the past with Gilgamesh.

We will not tolerate personal attacks, and I'm sure that Gilgamesh will get the message that he is subject to the same rules as anyone else, and also that we no longer have the time and patience for babysitting.

If you'd like to discuss this further, this thread will find its way into the Lounge.
