    http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/643163.html

    75% of pullout evacuees jobless

    By Nadav Shragai

    From news article:

Three-quarters of the Gush Katif and northern West Bank evacuees - some 2,200 people - are currently unemployed, according to a report compiled by the Yesha Council of settlements and its director general, Avner Shimoni, the former chairman of the Gaza Coast Regional Council.

According to the report, 65 percent of the evacuees have not yet moved into permanent homes and are still staying in hotels, guest houses and seminaries. Eighty-seven percent have yet to receive any compensation payments, according to the report.

The report surveys the condition of the 23 communities evacuated under the disengagement plan. The report found the following:

Atzmona: 60 families are in caravans in Ir Ha'emuna and 25 are in Moshav Yated.
Bedolah: Most of the families are in the Nitzan caravillas.
Dugit: The families have dispersed and are finding their own housing solutions.
Elei Sinai: Approximately 60 families are living in tents in Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. A few families have found temporary housing in Or Ha'ner.
Gadid: 30 families are staying in the Neveh Ilan guest house.
Gan Or: 10 families are in Kibbutz Yavneh.
Ganei Tal: Families have found temporary housing in caravillas in Yad Binyamin.
Ganim and Kadim: The families have moved on their own to the Afula area.
Homesh: The families are in caravans in Kibbutz Yad Hannah.
Katif: 50 families are in the King Saul Hotel in Ashkelon and 20 are in caravans in Ir Ha'emuna.
Kfar Darom: All the families are in the Paradise Hotel in Be'er Sheva.
Morag: Most of the community moved to the southern Hebron Hills.
Netzarim: 50 families have found temporary housing in Moshav Yevul and 25 are in temporary structures in a yeshiva in Karnei Shomron.
Netzer Hazani: 50 families are in the Hispin guest house and 25 families are in temporary structures in Kibbutz Ein Tzurim.
Neveh Dekalim: 80 families are in Nitzan and 186 families are staying in Jerusalem hotels and an IDF vacation facility in Ashkelon.
Nisanit: 80 families are in the caravilla mobile home site in Nitzan, while the rest are dispersed across the country.
Pe'at Sadeh: The entire settlement moved to Moshav Mavki'im in the Negev.
Rafiah Yam: Some families are in the Nitzan caravillas.
Sa-Nur: 12 families are in a school in Shavei Shomron.
Shirat Hayam: The families are in a dormitory in Alon Shvut.
Slav: The families have found their own housing solutions.
Tel Katifa: The families are in mobile homes in Even Shmuel.

All we heard was 'butt out, trust us we know what we're doing, we'll take care of all those people.' Riiiiiiiiight.

Most Israelis do not give a damn for those settlers. They lived off our backs and off Palestinian backs for years .
They are racist religious haters, mostly from America and Russia.
If they had complied with the gov and removed themselves on time, according to the law, they would have had full compensation.
Because they did not, and prefered to fight the gov, they cannot now cry like they are doing.
Those that left on time have recieved their compensation.

I doubt they would blame God for anything, they tend to blame 'Leftist's' for everything though .

Before the pullout they said the money was of no importance to them , now it is . Very hypocritical of them but only to be expected.

They cannot say they were not warned : http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...128266,00.html

This expresses p[retty well the moral rule of those who want a "democratic and civil Israel" - "We hate you, so we can ruin your lives."

BTW, most of those who agreed to leave early also did not get their money.

You need to read a little better. They're still waiting for the government's munificence to arrive. Bait and switch going on.

Who are you the Jewish Pat Buchanan? Why not just build camps for them out in the Negev?

Sabras are always amazed that no one takes their arrogance seriously, why is that?

Care to contradict this web site with some facts instead of just noise ?

Compensation for Jews Who Lose Homes in Disengagement
    http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/...pensation.html

because some are still waiting does not mean that they will not recieve anything.
there are thousands of children living below the poverty line in Israel, since when did settlers ever care about that or us ?

So you agree that the govt has done nothing for them, yet, if ever. Thanks. That there are poor children otherwise in Israel doesn't amaze me. I wonder what your excuse to them is?

I love the fractured stratification of Israeli society that holds some people up and the rest as near second class citizens. I guess you learned something from the Romans after all.

After all the source article was printed in Ha'aretz, the anti settler Bible. It's not like I quoted Arutz Sheva. So if even the left thinks the settlers have been abandoned, there is probably an element of truth to it. But like most Sabras here, you'd rather smear and attack the victims.

No I do not agree .
My excuse is a right wing gov called Likud.

The settlers thought they were God's gift to us for years. Now they are learning what second class citizens is all about. Tuf.
