This should go without saying, but the moderators of this forum have the authority to moderate posts as needed to conform to our Rules of the Road (RoR). This isn't an exact science, so they have considerable discretion.

We also have a special reminder-notice at the top of this section to clarify the Rules of the Road even further.

Basically, it is fine to raise legitimate questions and criticisms of any religion, but please be mindful to draw a line between legitimate criticism and religious bashing (which admittedly may be difficult to do, but please try).

If you find yourself at odds with any of our moderators, please re-read the RoR. If you still feel that a moderator's actions are unjustified, please send him/her a Private Message (PM). If you still can't resolve the issue, then you may contact me in a PM, although my replies are usually delayed. Please have specific examples available for me to examine.

Unfortunately, my replies are sometimes delayed due to my workload. But, fortunately, our moderators have a proven track record of fairness.

Just like in the event of a confrontation you would expect to be given the benefit of the doubt, please do so for our moderators, as well. They all have earned this courtesy many times over.
