    Avatars, why not?

    dear 'news guy' can you please allow avatars? they don't have to be big ones frown

    It's usually a performance issue that keeps avatars out. They're usually anime and LotR characters anyhow, which is annoying.

    I don't use LotR, restrict on anime ones...please consider-- to allow it
    avatars are good to follow members reply, when you scroll down

    It's more of an issue for the type of forum that this is. Mostly, avatars are used by -- and attract -- kids, which isn't really my goal.

    you don't have to allow GIF avatars. there can't be animations with JPG
