I just sent an e-mail to the U.S. State Department.

My e-mail included the following:

The call by President Bush for an "interim" Palestinian state is extremely alarming. Alarming, because Palestinian homicide bombers just slaughtered innocent Israeli citizens in two separate attacks, including high school children on a bus, (and today, a family of five, including three children, were machine gunned to death in their home) and this occurred AFTER the the world media reported that President Bush was about to call for an interim Palestinian state.

I am saddened and very worried that State Department continues to refuse to open it's eyes and see that innocent Israeli's will continue to be slaughtered even if a Palestinian state is established, and, most likely, even more will. Certainly the State Department has carefully analyzed Arafat and the PLO, and their history before and after Oslo, and the Palestinian Charter, as well as the terrorist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah for the truth of what their ultimate goal is ? Certainly the State Department well knows what the terrorists will do if there is an airstrip established on the West Bank, and once a Palestinian state begins to arm itself ???? And, certainly, the State Department understands the link between these terrorists and Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, and even Al Queda ???? And what about our President's repeated messages to the world regarding terrorism and what we will not tolerate ??? Aren't we being blatently hypocritical when it comes to Isreal, our single most faithful ally in the region ???

I am afraid that the fearful message being sent by the State Department and the President to the rest of the world is the following:
Kill a Jew, and receive sympathy for being oppressed
Kill two Jews, and receive millions in foreign aid, which will
be used not for the economic and social development of the
West Bank and Gaza Arabs - which might actually lead to
eventual peace - but rather, to build more bombs to murder
innocents lives and buy more ammunition to machine gun
Jewish families and children in their own homes.
Kill three Jews, and teach your children to be homicide
bombers, and that Jews are "monkeys," and that they drink the blood of Palestinians, and receive an "interim" provisional state
Kill four Jews, and continue to murder more, and eventually, we will reward your murderous blackmail with a bona fide, recognized state.

I suggest instead of e-mailing the State Department, begin forming a petition in your own towns and sending them to your local Congressman/woman or Senator, once you feel you have enough signatures. Nothing stirs the blood of politicians like seeing hundreds or thousands of registered voters getting behind a cause, a cause they can exploit. The people at the SD have tenure, if they want to ignore the public, they can. Make it known to your politicians, who don't have tenure, what the feelings of the public are.
