It's easy to read Israeli news reports online, you know.

    Feb. 16th - http://israelnn.com/news.php3?id=98647
    Feb. 14th - http://israelnn.com/news.php3?id=98510 Rocket hits Ashkelon.
Feb. 12th - http://israelnn.com/news.php3?id=98381 Rocket hits kibbutz within green line.
    Feb. 9th - http://israelnn.com/news.php3?id=98289 Multiple attacks

That's just a select recent few, excluding the attack where a baby was wounded, one which just missed hitting a nursery, and another which landed inside a power plant facility.

=)) this is where MILITARY knowledge comes in hand.

U see, those rockets are shot from hand held rocket launchers and are enough to blow up a normal sized car and nthng more.

The person on this forum who first reffered to SCUD missiles, which are missiles as big as a bus and which are launched from huge vehicles with a range of up to 1000 miles i think.

This missile is enough to blow up the Dome of Rock for instance.

so don't be sarcastic when u don't know what u're (we're) talking about.

Well, if you were referring to missiles you should have said “missiles” and not “rockets”:

“don't recall any rockets hitting central israel for over 15 years redcake.”

BTW, The latest type of scuds can hit targets only up to 700km, Arab scuds don’t exceed 300km (Scud B) and all are inaccurate. Scuds are tactical missiles. As for the rockets launched at Israel, the "Qasams", they are not shoulder rockets - they are a bit bigger and launched from launching pads. This is not the issue of the thread, but you sure can’t brag with MILITARY knowledge.

What's ur problem habibi? Uf mi po im yesh leha baaya ve zeu! Varian reffered earlier to scud missiles when someone else mentioned about the destruction of the Dome of Rock by an arab missile/rocket wtv and i explained it ain't gonna happen. Then redake showed me some links to rocket attacks and i explained her in a easy to get it way what's the difference between the rockets used in those attacks and what we were talking about.

I made this forum and i know what's it about, some other people started talking about "destroying the dome of rock" and stuff like that and i told them to stop talking about it cos it's highly unorthodox.

u obviously only want to show off ur "military knowledge" in this thread and nthng else instead of sayin smth topic-related.

You sure you didn't mean a nuclear bomb? What about the super death mind ray? Maybe you really meant, super death mind ray?

Anyway Qassams have been described as missiles. They're landing as far as 25 miles into Israel. http://www.weaponsurvey.com/missilesrockets.htm

Israelforum has a lot of handy links to free news sources from Israel. Check them out.

Who honestly thinks that the temple will ever be built again?

Hmmmh? I thought very much so.
How could the temple and the dome have the topic split between them?
IIRC the dome is sitting right on top of the remnants of the temple.
Having gotten my first glimpse about the manifold israeli society - are there no groups demanding the immediate rebuilding of the temple?

Yes there are lots of israeli people that want the rebuilding and even an organization. But they have no power of course, it's just for show and futile demonstrations.
Do u think that it might be built somewhere else?

No. It will either be built in its original location or not at all.

    Thanks.
No, unlikely. I'd guess, not until a very insisting voice would call somebody to actually do it, though.

However, the Temple exists in Israel, it's in the jewish people there, always moving, growing, and evolving, like no other temple in the world.

    Do u agree?

I agree that the last 1900 years of Judaism has developed specifically because of the loss of the Beit Hamikdash. What would we do with a new Temple? Reinstitute the Priesthood? Tear down all our Synagogues? Sacrfice animals?

Judaism has proven itself through the millenia that it's very flexible. A new Temple would be the interpretation of the judaism of today. Of course the synagogues would not be teared down and animals sacrificed. That's a huge non-sense. Did the christians destroy all the catholic churches just cos Vatican exists? NO. A new temple would be simply a new temple. Just like the ones before, coresponding to the respectable time. It would be the center of Judaism lik it was before, just like Mecca is for the muslims for example, and i didn't see them destroyin all the other mosques either. It would just be the center of judaism spirituality and a building whose glamour would represent us all. What u said, Mediocrates, is just nonsense.
