Iranian advisor: We'll strike Dimona in response to U.S. attack

    http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/687022.html

    By Yossi Melman, Haaretz Correspondent

If the United States launches an attack on Iran, the Islamic republic will retaliate with a military strike on Israel's main nuclear facility, an advisor to Iran's Revolutionary Guard said.

The advisor, Dr. Abasi, said Tehran would respond to an American attack with strikes on the Dimona nuclear reactor and other strategic Israeli sites such as the port city of Haifa and the Zakhariya area.

Haifa is also home to a large concentration of chemical factories and oil refineries.

Zakhariya, located in the Jerusalem hills is - according to foreign reports - home to Israel's Jericho missile base. Both Israeli and international media have published commercial satellite images of the Zakhariya and Dimona sites.

Abasi, a senior lecturer at Tehran University, was quoted in the Roz internet news site, identified with reform circles in Iran.

Iranian affairs experts believe Abasi's statements are part of propaganda battle being wages by all sides - including Israel and Iran - in the lead up to next months United Nations Security Council debate on Iran's nuclear program.

At this stage, the possibility that sanctions will be leveled at Iran are extremely low.

Mah MAD and the rest of his Islamowhackos (takeo doesn't want us to use Islamofacist anymore - now this whole damn forum must be IC [Islamicly Correct]) will be getting "it" from out of the blue; quite literally. The weapons platform (albeit, old by today's standards) that was the final nail in the old Soviet coffin is still out there lurking in the briny deep. Either a Trident boomer or Israel will deal a deadly blow to the Persian Pretender. Since WWIII has already started, Mah MAD and his hearty band of IW's won't mind if the free world strikes back first. An EMP weapon over the US will have little effect on a rogue Trident boomer.

They intend on using missles, and that really proves that we should hurry the hell up, and that fools who advocate giving them ten more years like Jimmy Carter are either idiots or traitors.

Let them strike Dimona! The chances they will damage the site are close to nothing and the action will justify massive retaliation. It is time to end the theocracy and while doing so killing as many revolutionary guards and Mullahs as possible (I think the Iranians will be happy to do that too).

If the Iranian Air Force will try to strike at Dimona, Jordan will have a lot of MiG wreckages to clean up from their land. Not to mention that some of those Jericho missiles just might be used to return the favor.

LOL, this is however out of question as they have no Plaines that could reach Israel. Our newest F-15I’s and F-16I’s can reach Iran however. Also, if they somehow manage to refuel the planes in flight (I don't think they have the ability), flying over Iraq will be a very difficult thing to do considering the fact that it's controlled by the USAF.

Russia and Iran concluded an agreement to transfer Iranian enrichment programs and factories to Russia.
Bad news for the people who are searching an excuse for yet another war... Iran will not be attacked. Good news for all peaceloving peoples on this earth, and for everyone who doesn't want to see Iranian WMD's.
