9-11: Your Immediate Reaction

I am just curious of your immediate reactions to the 9-11 attacks.

I was in school when I heard the bad news and my first thoughts were "Damm, the Arabs reached the U.S." I am serious. Of course, I was 100% right. I don't think most of the people in the school had similar thoughts.

i was studying, when my dad called from downstairs and told me about this.my first thoughts were" damn!! its the arab terrorists!!.my second thought was for the poor victims, cos i felt sad for them, as a person from india i know only too well the effects of terrorism.and my third thought was "ah..now the americans would understand what wwe have been telling them for ages".

but it seems they havn't understood yet. too many pacifists who are willing to sell out their freedoms and future for "political correctness" seem to have forgotten about 9 11.

I was at work in an online support chat when someone posted "Hey watch your TV immediately! The WTC is burning! Must be Arab terrorists!" the chat session somersaulted with crazy comments and was no help anymore. It had left me speechless and I thought "It's the beginning of another war. Will they call it WW3, later?" I had to work for another two hours with no TV and no radio and heard the news on my way home.

Those were my exact thoughts as well. I thought that now Americans will gain some empathy about Palestinian terrorism in Israel and all Arab terrorism in general.

For those who come from places where terrorism is common, the 9-11 attacks were too familiar.
