This simply dosent stack up. America has for as long as I can remember been the number one friend and supporter of Israel in the world and is a majority Protestant country.

I have lost count of the number of times America has backed Israel and i my opinion only but rightly when the United Nations etc was attempting to stab her in the back.

Liberals may spout a politically correct line but they are not the majority

Most support for Israel in the US comes from the more conservative Evangelical Churches. There is no way these liberal "mainline" theologians could have influenced George W. Bush into ending his support for Israel.
